Not captivating, have tried twice but can't get into it.

Re read this over a hilariously long amount of time. It’s still one of the most bonkers things I’ve ever read. It lulls you into a false sense of security with all this math and diagrams and shit only to be a conspiracy thriller in which the main character gets arrested because he had prophetic visions on Y2K. I’m not joking

I made numerous attempts to finish Flatland and finally found the opportunity to read it in one sitting. The concept is novel, but it’s a joyless experience.

Nice illustration of the meaning of dimensions, but kind of... well, flat. I guess I didn't pick up on the "satire of Victorian England" in 6th grade.

I didn’t expect a book about shapes to be so incredibly sexist.
