Lo disfrute desde el principio y me pregunto por que no lo habia leido antes. La forma en que este libro captura la dificil travesia del autor hacia su interior es fascinante y magica. A favoritos.

Interesting. Very weird yet entertaining coming of age story. Hesse is a brilliant writer and is one of my favorites.

I found it amazing how someone who was living in those times when people pointed with their finger to anyone who wanted to think different or just didn’t want to have a thought because everyone was thinking it was true, was capable of writing a book criticizing how people just tend to follow other’s ideals whenever it comes about the popular thinking, but no one was capable of even questioning themselves about a way to analyze deeply those popular beliefs.

Its truth that, sometimes when you read the book (this happened to me, someone who just started to read 1 month ago), I founded it quite difficult to understand some meanings of quotes, even more at the begging when Demian was talking about Cain and Abel, but once you continue with the reading, you end up understanding what the author wanted to say.

Also it’s so easy to read just because how addictive could be once you’re done with a pair of chapters and I appreciate that it’s not a huge read, it’s so fast to read and I liked so much those descriptions of the environment, they were so appealing to read.

Moreover, I love how much I learned about some of the gods that were shown in this book. I found so interesting when the author told us about Abraxas and told us who Abraxas was as the story progressed.

I love how the story invites you to think by your own always.
I could learn so much about this book and you might think it’s kinda exaggerate to say that it’s one of my favorite books, having read 2 books and 4 comics, but I think it will be always one of them.
I can’t wait to investigate more about this awesome author!
