The book was ok. I felt like there could have been more building of the characters / case and less inner dialogue. I’d be willing to read another just to see if the characters develop more.

Fun and engaging, but it felt straightforward and abbreviated. Would have enjoyed a little more development of characters and plot!

So I would give this 3.5 stars but I couldn’t rate it the same as other 4 stars I’ve read so I had to round down. This book was good - however it was extremely predictable and the dialogue was so simple. I just feel like there weren’t a lot of complexities to the story - not that there needs to be but it was just a little to formulaic for me.
