Another fun set of Bosch short stories including one that goes back to Bosch’s first case as a patrol officer. Good read for a short flight.
I love Connelly's Harry Bosch stories and the wait between new books gets long. So I really enjoyed these three short stories.
Сборник разкази. Някои са хубави, други са експерименти, задънени улици без продължение. Подходяща за читатели, които искат да прочетат всичко за Хари Бош или всичко на Конъли. Разказът, дал името на книгата, определено е най-запомнящ се.

In all short story collections, I like to rate them in each story, then tally the total, and divide the amount of stories.
Story One - Christmas Even - 4.5 Stars
- Love these stories that dredge up memories from Harry's life, especially his time in Viet Nam.
- Also love the confluence of Jazz and a Mystery, which seems to go together quite well.
Story Two - Father's Day - 4.25 Stars
- I really thought this was played so well. The way that Bosch took the gamble, and how it paid off. So often, things like this don't.
- The ending was perfect.
Story Three - Angle of Investigations - 4.25 Stars
- Regrets and accountability.
- Love learning stories about when Harry was a Boot. Each of these stories give us a peak into the person that we are following at the present time.
- This one type of story had to be hard for Harry, but then again...it had to happen. Closing the loop.
Really am loving the Cold Case angle of this last story, but also how we are given the peak into who Bosch is and how he sees crime, and how to investigate it.
Really good book.
