to be honest, I wasn’t a fan of this book. I disliked most of the characters, finding their decisions baffling most of the time. As a Rizzoli and Isles book (I read a couple years ago), I was expecting their relationship to be included, but there was no sign of Isles at all, which made Rizzoli less likeable and sometimes unbearable, and more obvious that she would solve the case independently. If you were just starting out with this series, I’d definitely give this book a miss.
Graphic: Death, Rape, Blood, Medical trauma, and Murder
Moderate: Sexual assault, Sexual violence, Suicidal thoughts, Torture, Violence, and Medical content
