Fire Force is the latest from the mangaka of Soul Eater. In this latest story, we follow Shinra as he starts his career with the Special Fire Cathedral

The story is unique: a specialized Fire Force combats, not regular blazes, but spontaneous human combustion, which is caused by demons. The artwork is gorgeous and the characters are distinct and interesting. Blending elements of humor, horror, cheesecake, action, and drama, Fire Force Vol. 1 is a fun, quick read.

Interesting and action-packed.
There are times when the panels jump from angles, scenes, or moments in bizarre ways that I admit confused me a bit, but the overall story is intriguing enough that I'm looking forward to reading more.

I would’ve enjoyed this more if Maki weren’t groped as a really cheap gag. It was really pointless & strange, in addition to it just being gross. I’m used to “fan service” (I guess that’s what we call it?) but this literally stopped the story dead and made the MC look like a creep as opposed to stories where it’s a random side character that looks like a creep. anyway.

This story’s premise is interesting. Humans are spontaneously combusting and causing fires and the Fire Force exists to free their souls (so to speak) and take them out before people out out the fire. The main character Shinra joined to use his control over fire to save people and solve the mystery of what happened to his family.

I don’t really have a solid feel on anyone’s personality, but the story is interesting. Would’ve definitely enjoyed it more as a whole if it weren’t for how they treated Maki.

A new magic world from the creator of Soul Eater, but the pervy bits feel very out of place. Way to lose me, Ohkubo.

De "je vais devenir un héros" à "je dois devenir un héros"
Je me suis très amusée en lisant ce manga
