It was awesome to hear the characters come to life. I loved the cast and the book itself!

While very interesting in the beginning it felt like the main story ended somewhere after Morpheus reclaimed his place with the stories often feeling more random after that. Some still interesting and some, just too strange. Audio generally of good quality with great immersion and while the voice acting generally was good the acting itself sometimes felt a bit excessive. Like loud slobbering as soon as something was eaten or that a great deal of characters sounded like nervous wrecks when talking. I guess compensating for the lack of image, but a bit much in my opinion.

Well now I'm going to have post book depression for a week. :(

Audiodrama adaptacija prve tri knjige Sendmena je delo visoke produkcije, vrlo životno prevedeno u auditorni format. Gejmenova naracija, koja mahom zamenjuje crteže (dok drugi deo posla rade efekti), pitka je i lepršava, sa izvesnim pedigreom koji uspeva da i one učmale delove Sendmena (tipa ugovorne reference na ostatak DC stripova) podigne u nešto zabavno. Ostatak glumačke postave je vrlo dobar do odličan, pri čemu se izdvajaju Egerton i Mekavoj kao Džon Konstantajn i Morfej/San, redom, što je nešto što nisam znao da mi je u životu bilo potrebno. Kao neko ko nije odmakao od prve tri knjige u stripovskom formatu (iz nekog razloga, forma me nije privukla), ovo ću svakako nastaviti.

edit: neposredno po postovanju ovog, uočih da ipak JESAM pročitao još tri knjige Sendmena i sad odoh da se testiram na potencijalnu demenciju oprobanim metodom lupanja glave u zid

Huge Gaiman (and Sandman) fan so I’m probably biased but this was solid gold from start to finish. Really hope they continue dramatizing these comics.

Loved this, wasn’t sure how well it would work but the narration by Gaiman was great, and the addition of the sound effects and music was brilliant.

Really enjoyed the production of this one. The stories were pretty good too
