It was cute, but I also felt it was lacking....something.

Duck and Bear are back in another fun read-aloud about differences. Duck's antics always crack up the kiddos.

This is what hell looks like.

A perfect follow-up to this opposites-attract friendship.

This book is the story of the life in which I am the duck and my husband is the bear.

Duck is definitely trying too hard.

This was SUCH a hit with my kids, but I have to say that it wasn't as good as the first one. Still very much worth reading and has a good "No!" response portion like the first. A good shared read-aloud.

Poor Bear! He really wants to spend some quiet time on his own chilling out but his best friend, needy Duck has other plans and he is dragged out for a morning walk. The interaction between these two opposite personalities is very funny, and I can empathise with both of them, being an extrovert who has introvert tendencies!. Bear’s patience is lovely, and shows that sometimes you do things you don’t particularly want to do to make someone you love happy.

Maybe I empathize a little too much with Bear -- I would want to be left alone!

But I can also see Duck's side -- Bear sure isn't acting very much like he's Duck's friend.

Lovelt sequel to [b:Goodnight Already!|20663085|Goodnight Already!|Jory John|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1458875340s/20663085.jpg|39961728] with the duck and bear making an appearance again, another funny and excellent book by John. I look forward to reading some others
