This was cute and short, I felt like the pacing was a little off and there were a lot of details to the story that didn’t seem necessary in such a short book BUT I would like to read more adventures from this ship full of social outcasts. I was a tiny bit confused by what time period, exactly, this was in, mainly because Francisco was a doctor and seemed to have gone to medical school but I’m not sure that was A Thing concurrent with Blackbeard. And if it was, Dr. Garcia had some very modern ideas about health and wellbeing. The medical detail took me out of the story a little bit. This cover is absolutely gorgeous!

I could have done with an epilogue or a slightly less abrupt ending, but this was very charming!

I wasn't expecting much from a random book I opened on Kindle but this book has everything. Gay pirates (that's 2 important things by the way), historical feels, stormy seas, steamy scenes, fun characters. I honestly didn't want this story to end, it was so great
