Give me all of the Minh Le & Dan Santat collaborations! I just love everything they work on together. This is the perfect book to give at a baby shower because it shows the hard parts of being a part but also the great parts too and is a good reminder to treasure it all.

Particularly love the illustrations in this one. Dan Santat’s illustrations are always so colorful, full, and spread across the space. They remind me of some comic style art. The story itself is cute too, talking about how watching little ones grow can be like a blur that has moments that freeze time.

Good gift for parents of graduating children or an alternate to "Oh, the places you'll go."

Goosebumps...I got goosebumps reading this one. What a great book for the beginning of life as well as graduation. Parents will love reading this one to their kiddos as a reminder to enjoy the ride as it goes fast. The illustrations are fantastic and capture the written word very well.

Felt like this is meant more for parents than for kids. 2 stars for kids, 4 stars for parents who will probably shed a tear reading this
