Best installment in the series yet! Wonderful showing from Isaka with fantastic character work and tension! Picked it up and couldn't put it down.

I saw that this was a shorter book, and was looking for something just like it.  I was a little concerned because I had not read the first two books.  I found out it was a loosely connected universe, and can say you don’t need to read the first two to read this one.  The prior book was “Bullet Train”, which was adapted into a movie on Netflix.

This book really pulled me in and I read it in 3 days.  It’s a simple book in a ridiculous over the top universe, but it really gets at a lot of basic human emotions.  Loneliness, father and son relationships, fairness, and the guilt that comes with a history of violence.  (Will add more later)
