Still a cute read. She finally realized who her prince is. Its about time, I hope that storyline starts to move better now. It definitely took too long to get there and I can't believe it was a letter that finally made her find out. There wasn't a lot of the library in this volume either just some relationship building between various characters. Still fun but not the best of the series.

Some nice character development with Kasahara, Tezuka, and Shibazaki. Kasahara is cleared of charges after Tezuka's brother tries to pressure her (and esp. Tezuka) into his group. The brother sends a letter to Kasahara revealing that Dojo is her Prince. She wrestles with this new information and how she feels and how he might feel. It's revealed Tezuka and Shibazaki have been working together regarding his brother's organization. Rumors abound about T and S dating and ther eare a couple of sweet moments between them.

FINALLY!

For those who have yet to begin Kiiro Yumi's series, "Library Wars: Love & War", volume 8 is when the penny FINALLY drops for several of our favorite members of the Library Task Force!

I would like to think that when I was experiencing dorm life in college that women like Kasahara, Shibazaki, and Marie would have been my roommates. Their male counter parts would have been equally close friends and allies, and I could see us all having a great time in the school library before heading out to a local late night dive for dinner.

What I enjoyed about this particular volume was how Shibazaki acknowledges that while goals can be identical, the journey there does not have to be. This is the story of my life, and millions of others, and all the more reason to feel reassured that while no two paths are the same: that is okay.

I have made the decision that I will wait to see where the newest mission of the LTF goes, even though the mission is dangerous and ends on a cliffhanger, until I move to Pittsburgh and receive my new library card. While the wait will be tough, the rewards will be worth it!

SHE FINALLY KNOWS!!! And draws the wrong conclusion from it OF COURSE!!

Finally, this is the installment we have all been waiting for, Iku and her Prince, but then she doubts everything. OMG she is killing me. Where is all this insecurity coming from?? But Komaki saves the day, as usual. Gotta love that dude.

So yeah, this installment is definitely my favorite so far in the series. We see major character/relationship changes...Iku/Dojo, Tezuka/Shibazaki, Komaki/Marie and I am loving them all! And of course when it ends I am damn near devastated and now I have to wait until next year for volume 9! ARGH.

And holy crap, the tiny comics at the beginning of each chapter that put Iku and Dojo into the story of Cinderella was freaking ADORABLE!
