Rivals to lovers? Forced proximity with one bed? This book got you! The banters and the tension in this book is chef's kiss! It is so compelling and will leave you wanting more with butterflies in your stomach.

The world-building and storytelling is so magnificent. Just when you think you know what's happening already, but something else is revealed, and then the answers unfolding leaving you still shock. Its twist after twist after twist with this series.

After reading the third book, I can absolutely say that this whole series has my whole heart. The 2nd book will always be my favorite but this 3rd installment has given me plenty of butterflies in my stomach as well. I've loved it in ways I could not express, maybe it was the angst.

The Girl Games series is my first fantasy read and im glad that it is because it did not disappoint me, and I know that these characters will live with me forever. One of the reasons why I love this series so much is that the previous characters still plays important roles in the present ones and so we get a glimpse of what comes after for them. All the characters are written vitally to the plot of the story. Even the background characters were written in a compelling manner.

The spice in this book is so good, I'd rate it at 4/5

Ruby Roe is a 10/10 author when it comes to steamy, sexy sapphic romance and an intense story line to back it up. I just love that all the characters are women and lesbians! Though I haven’t always been one for fantasy novels, this triology sparked my interest. It’s an interesting play on the similarities between love and hate and the slow burn that builds as Bella and Remy’s hearts soften for each other. The romance is achingly hot. They lust and hate each other all at the same time and you can’t get enough. The goal of having them put aside their differences to stop a traitor from escaping prison makes you pump your fist in the air. It almost reminds me of the Hunger Games in a way. Overall, I loved this book! Would definitely read again.
