I think this book was my favorite of the series. Their relationship was so fun and the competitive nature of the characters was really entertaining.
I found myself smiling like an idiot at the scene where they’re practically killing themselves over racing up 8 flights of stairs just to beat the other to the top.

My biggest peeve on all these books has been that the character placement in the spaces they’re occupying has sometimes been hard to follow. Some of the ways the author describes them as being positioned seem to directly contradict themselves and makes it a little annoying to picture.

I also really enjoyed the rune magic but was a little confused by what was happening with all of it. Like it felt like a computer program but then sometimes (all the times?) it was projecting into real life? I didn’t understand it.

But the story was cute and the smut was well written

This didn't capture me as much as the rest of the series but I am still excited to continue on into the vampire world now

I loved that this book was different from the first two in terms of what the “battles” looked like. There were still lots of twists and turns but less fist fights and swords and I still loved it as much as the first two! I can’t wait to read another from this author hopefully soon!
