A lesson in letting go

This book is definitely for the super control freaks out there. I found a few chapters helpful for dealing with my type A perfectionist tendencies and parenting issues. I will try harder to let go of certain aspects of life and let God take "full" control.

Encouraging and practical read, just caught me in a reading rut so it felt slow to read.

I recommend this book for every Christian women. When it comes right down to it, we're all control freaks at heart, but just because it's natural doesn't make it right. Karen Ehman walks through the Biblical reasons why we are this way and why we need to change, then she gives very practical advice for getting over your own control-freak hangups. Her humor and her funny personal stories make this an easy - if convicting - read.

This book really helped me identify some areas where I was wayyyy more controlling than I realized. If you're looking for a super deep religious or philosophical book, this isn't your book. However there was enough religion and philosophy that it worked well for me. It is a great read and really helped me!!!
