SUMMARY: (SPOILER WARNING)

Blake has had a crush on her dad’s best friend Jonas for years. But six years ago (when she was twenty-two) she tried to make a move on him and he turned her down. Still, she has never been able to get him off her mind.

When a client from her architect firm requests Jonas as the designer for their project, she has to approach him. But when she shows up at his house during a thunder storm, she isn’t prepared for the feelings of lust and want to come back so quickly. And when the storm threatens to keep her at his house for the night, things heat up even quicker.

REVIEW:

Hot and enjoyable age gap story. I love the dad’s best friend trope, but compared to the first two books in the series, it seems far less taboo.

Still, I enjoyed Blake and Jonas together. They have a lot of chemistry and are super hot.

I love that they do some role playing and a little CNC play. I love all the dirty talk. Lots of fun little kinks they enjoy during their forbidden weekend.

Overall pretty good! Not as kinky as the previous ones in the series, but still really fun and sexy.

What I Liked: I don’t really have much to say about this - it is what it is, which is a very well-written, hot and steamy book. There’s nothing complicated about it. The characters are engaging, the chemistry is really strong, their dynamic together is very sexy. The story trips along nicely and comes to a fairly satisfying ending.
I also liked that the heroine’s bisexuality is so casual in the book and that she corrects the hero on his assumptions she’s only dated men. It was nice to see!
What I Didn’t: There’s nothing I really hated. I wouldn’t give it a higher rating because it’s not something I’d call a favourite.
Overall: For what it is, it does it very well, and it was a fun read.
Would I Recommend It?: Yes, if you want a well-written erotic romance with an age-gap, some daddy kink and mild BDSM.
Would I Read Something By The Author Again?: Yes.

I mean, it’s just a smut fest and I am here for it. I liked Blake as a character. She was just wanting all the naughty things and it was delicious. And Jonas the mouth on that man holy hell. Delicious just delicious all around.
