2.5 maybe?

The smut was great overall (with stormed/snowed in and clothes sharing tropes!!!) but there were some aspects I wasn't really into. And this has the grumpy/sunshine ship but tbh Blake didn't give me any sunshine vibes. Jonas definitely fit the grumpy type, so that's something.

And I read/finished this in one day! Go me \o/

Nothing as yet has topped the first in this series, Your Dad Will Do, and I think this one is more like a 3.5 for me (the shame kink is not my kink). But I just want to say goddess bless Katee Robert, whom I know I can turn to when I need something both light and filthy.

This is sexy fun, but I think the second book is my favorite of the taboo books. I really like Blake and Jonah and them acknowledging their attraction to one another.

The genius of Katee Robert is in accessing “pure id”, as Sarah MacLean would call it. I didn’t think I was into Daddy kink because I CANNOT deal with the pet names. The dynamic though... the dynamic, I don’t hate. There’s something visceral in the fantasy of a woman surrendering to a powerful man who’s singular focus is to take care of her. 

Katie Robert’s erotic romance is unapologetic, always, and never more blatantly that in the Touch of Taboo series. The relentless dynamic of “we shouldn’t” got a little distracting for me, but I can appreciate that for readers who really enjoy that fantasy, this book well and truly delivered.
