Like the others in this series, it's quick, spicy (erotica), and fun. I picked this up as a lighter read in between a much darker fantasy (coughPoppyWarcough).
While not a huge part of the book, I loved how supportive Jonas was of Blake when giving her business advice.
-one bed -age gap -forced proximity -lightly taboo - role play/daddy kink
3.5/5

I came for the vibes but left disappointed. To me the smut was just ok and the story line was kind of dull.

I agree with the reviews that said the beginning was hot, but then it fell flat.

I liked this a lot, although I think Shane/Lily’s story in book two of the Taboo series deals with a lot of the same dynamics and kinks with a smoother more interesting/believable relationship arc. Still very fun erotica novella, would realistically give this a 3.5 and recommend for fans of Katee Robert’s other works or authors like Sierra Simone.
