This started out great. I was quickly invested and easily adored Eric & Kyle, both individually and together. I liked how seamlessly their connection began and how their chemistry kept growing. They shared the same interests and just clicked. But after a while, it was just too much of the same regarding their relationship. It became too repetitive and sort of stale. I would have much rather read about them becoming a couple sooner, instead of it being the end of the book. I would have liked to see them exploring being together, traveling, and revamping The Kingfisher.

PS: I have to mention how adorkable it was whenever Eric talked to his goalposts. He’s such a cutie pie!

I read some of the reviews before reading this one. I expected to not enjoy it as much but I quite liked the relationship between Kyle and Eric. I liked how it develops. Would have liked a bit more of them once they got together.

a bit boring, not for anyone who hate a lack of communication trope, very excellent spice though
