Worst book in the series. It was boring. It was mostly miscommunication and inaction. Their fights don’t make any sense. Why they get back together makes no sense. Two spinelessly MCs who can’t make up their minds.

I also hate “I’ll teach you” troupes.

Okay Eric and Kyle were fun! And hot. I was a little frustrated with Eric’s tunnel vision regarding the age gap, tbh. But I guess for some people it IS a real issue

I absolutely LOVE the hockey world that Rachel Reid has created, and although Ilya and Shane will forever and always be my favorite couple, I love reading about everyone else too! (Although I'm desperately waiting for the direct sequel to Heated Rivalry that she has promised us!)

I love age gap and bisexuality discovery - seriously those are two of my top favorite things in mm romance these days, so I really enjoyed this! This one was a bit slower pace, still fun, and with some great cameos too. Another great entry into the series.

Fans of hockey romance, I recommend this ENTIRE series - and I really, really, really wish Carina would put these out in paperback or print on demand so we can have some physical copies!

Not my favorite of the series, but I did enjoy it! I think I might have liked it better if I read it instead of listen to it.
This author is like Annabeth Albert - where both characters are good people who deserve love and you can't help but root for their happiness! That's the kind of romance I like to read.

Current ranking in this series:
1. Heated Rivalry
2. Role Model
3. Common Goal
4. Tough Guy
