I didn’t expect to like this. I typically hate harem fiction but this one had a really good story so I will move on to book2.

The story was pretty good, though I didn't realize thus was going to turn into an erotic harem series. While the sex is being used in the magical system, it seems more like the author made the magical system to use the sex because he wanted to write about a MC that has lot's of sex with multiple women. It struck me as very much wish fulfillment. If it weren't for that, I would definitely read book 2. As it stands, with the excessive sex scenes, I don't know if I will. Maybe if I get really bored....

Modern fantasy mashed up with Skyrim and a dash of erotica.

First off, I really enjoyed the book. It is totally an escapist romp that kept me from putting down my Kindle until I finished it. There are sex scenes but they are not super explicit which keeps it from crossing over into erotica.

The book is just packed with action. Bouncing scene to scene embraces magic, combat, shapeshifting, air combat, discovering secrets, and more combat. It is just a super fun and light book to read. Definitely recommend as a beach or pool book for the summer.
