They spent too much of the book not being together and to say that Bayou is the president of the MC they didn't really feature that much. Didn't dislike the book I was just looking forwards to it so it was a bit of a let down

OUTSTANDING! The Bear Bottom Guardians has to be one of my favorite series ever! Lani Lynn Vale, captured me from the first sentence of hte first book, and I've been hooked since.

This book is outstanding, it shows that you can do anything if you are patient enough. Bayou is is just that when it comes to Phoebe, patient and controlling, demanding, and totally in love! The way these two come together to actually work together and fall for each other was amazing. Such a great story!

Un vrai coup de coeur pour cette romance originale =D

Ce que j'ai particulièrement aimé :
- le fait que le héros soit neuro-atypique était très original et je l'ai d'autant plus aimé à cause de ça =D
- Phoebe est aussi une héroine originale (j'ai adoré sa passion pour les oiseaux !!) qui m'a beaucoup fait rire et je l'ai adoré !
- les rebondissements dans l'histoire (sa fille !!)
- presque tous mes clichés étaient là (le père célibataire, la relation patron / employé, l'autre femme dingue (même si là c'était sa soeur) et l'ex maléfique ... )
- la romance !!! Tellement chaud bouillant mais aussi juste mignon
- tout le drama autour de la prison mais aussi de Isa =D

Bref, un de mes favoris dans cette série et un livre à dévorer pour les fans de romance sexy avec des bikers =D

What I particularly liked :
- the fact that the hero is neuro-atypical was very original and I liked him all the more because of that =D
- Phoebe is also an original heroine (I loved her passion for birds !!) who made me laugh a lot and I loved her !
- the twists in the story (his daughter !!)
- almost all my favorite tropes were there (the single dad, the boss/employee relationship, the other crazy woman (even if that was her sister) and the evil ex...)
- romance !!! So hot boiling but also just cute !
- all the drama around the prison but also about Isa =D

In short, one of my favorites in this series and a book to devour for fans of sexy romance with bikers =D

Finally! We get Bayou's book and it could not be a better one. Bayou is one of my favorite characters of this series so his book was one that I have been waiting for. It left me breathless which is something that Lani Lynn Vale is so good at doing.  Lani Lynn Vale is a master at taking characters that we meet throughout her series at various times and expanding on them to create a world that leaves fans clamoring for more.

This was my favorite book of the series so far! I know I say that about all of them at the time but this certainly is. I loved Bayou and Phoebe together. They meet when they are young. Bayou suffers from Aspergers and because of it as a young man he gets made fun of. When we see him later you barely notice it. He has not only managed to control his ticks he also is the warden of the local prison. It is

From the moment Bayou meets Phoebe he begins calling her Fancy. Now as adults she is working as a nurse in his prison. The fit together so well. She is an introvert and doesn't see any of Bayou's quirks. She just goes with it because she has her own. She is the youngest daughter of Sam and Cheyenne (from Boomtown- Freebirds book 1) which explains why her dad is so protective of her. I love when we get to see Sam with any of his girls.

Add in Bayou's little girl that he knew nothing about and you have one of the most sweetest love stories. That little girl is simply too sweet. I love how she develops in the story. Once Bayou and Phoebe begin really talking and decide they are going to be together things move rather quickly but that's okay. I will say that the marriage proposal is the best I have ever read in any book! It gave me all kinds of feels. This is a book that I will certainly be reading again and again.
