Loved all of the stories about hospitality and excellence at Disney and the career of Jody Dean. Did not love all of the how-to portions as much.

DNF. I don't want to rate this because I don't think this was a bad book. I just don't think it was what I expected it to be. I have read many "How to be Like Walt" books and I thought this would be similar, but I didn't get that feeling. I loved that she did the Internship program (the pilot program actually) because I did it as well so I felt a small connection to her. But she went so much further and deeper into the company than I could ever imagine going so she kind of lost me along the way.

Continuing my fascination with Disney's philosophy!

What an incredible read! This book provides tips and tricks on identifying your dream and pursuing it with all intentionality. And besides, who doesn't love a book about Disney?! This book is most directly applicable to business endeavors but from my perspective as an elementary teacher, the people managing skills illustrated in this book are also applicable to my profession as well. I learned many facts about Disney (my favorite of which was the debacle of deciding what makes a princess!). Worth a read for someone interested in revving up their motivation while simultaneously honing in on their true Disney spirit. Highly recommended!
