Very solid and creepy thriller. The whole setting made me feel very anxious and heavy. I was trying to guess the outcome of the book the whole time.

Would have been a 4 star the book was very captivating and i enjoyed the plot twist, it was a complete surprise, but
the rape scene was unnecessary.

This one was just okay for me. Some of the twists didn’t really make sense. Or they just felt like twists for the sake of being twists. I think it got a bit confusing trying to follow the storyline and characters.

Tries way too hard to be clever. Left me in frustration at the end, that forced me to do research on what was or wasn’t happening. Good premise but was doing too much at once.

R-This book definitely kept me on my toes and kept me anticipating the next page for most of the book.
I really enjoyed it up until the hospital rape scene. That kind of ruined it for me as I’ve been trying to find books a little cleaner and that was pretty messed up, but I kept going. Then when Amber killed her “sisters” family I felt done with the book but still finished reading it. It was just too much to make Amber as messed up as Claire, I wish she remained more normal!
The twists were pretty crazy though so I enjoyed it enough for the one read! Would not read again.
