I have read many books from Alice Feeney and will continue to do so. Never disappointed by all the twists and turns. I always try to guess and never manage to get it right 😭 Always have to pause the audiobook and rewind multiple times because I just cannot believe what’s happened sometimes! Literally listened to it all in one day. Couldn’t stop! Even at the gym! 🤣

Wow. I feel as if most twists I read are for the thrill and not intricately woven in. This is my second book of Feeney’s, she continues to raise the bar. These characters are deeply complex and everything evil seems to come together. This was a quick read but the morals of these characters are lingering! It brings a lot of interesting points to the conversation of nurture vs nature, even as a very clear work of fiction. The detailed perspective of a patient in the coma was unique and an interesting read.

Having read Alice Feeney before, the twist was a bit obvious to me early on. However, this is still a very interesting mystery! I enjoy Alice Feeney and look forward to reading more of her work.
