This was my first book by K.C. Bear and I can honestly say I will be looking for more.
Merry Christmas, Soldier is written in a first-person perspective from the MMC, Jensen's POV. He is in the military and is just returning home for Christmas. He decides he's going to surprise everyone, so he doesn't give anyone a heads up. Of course, he missed his parents, but he's more excited to see his adoptive little sister, Mercy. There's definitely a strong bond between these to, but he has never brought his fantasies to life. That is until she decides to bring them to life for him. They are both adults even if he's twice her age but that doesn't stop this steamy romance from happening. I do wish it was longer though and that plot twist at the end was so mean.

Merry Christmas, Soldier by K.C. Bear is a heartwarming holiday story that shows the bonds that tie us together can reach across the globe. Its Mercy and Jensen's story and though some might find their bond a little taboo I found it sweet and steamy.
The connection between the two is one we all wish for in life.
