Quirky. Action packed. Suspenseful. Recommend to your readers who ask for "something that makes me want to keep reading."

This was a strange one. Took awhile to get into it and then kept taking quirky twists. Still not sure what's going on, but I'm definitely intrigued....

Decent “pesky teenagers” page turner. Slightly bonkers

Another very interesting premise, with a disappointing carry-through. The hook (being temporarily killed every two years on her birthday) isn't crucial to the rest of the story, which is boring and tired. I often read YA but this is too deliberately YA for me. I have NO desire to read #2.

I tried so hard to enjoy and get into this book, but I just couldn't. To me this book was overhyped.
