Boy was this a fun book. Much better than the Kingdom of the Wicked series. Can't wait for more if there will be any

This book is so horny and honestly, I fuck with it. Kerri Maniscalco has marginally redeemed herself in this universe. I will stay seated and eagerly await the next entry.

This book was really hard for me to push through. The 2 main characters were well developed and the spice was spicy but the rest of the story was just a slog to get through for me. I haven't read the Wicked series but maybe if I had I would have been able to understand all the different courts and beings and how they all related better. Maybe I just wasn't in the right mood to read this book at the time but I really had to push myself to get through this book. I wanted to know how it ended but with about 250 pages left I was just like okay can I read a summary of the end and just be done? I finished it but it took me really having to force myself to finish. This should have been read in 2 days but took me 4 because I just couldn't get engaged with it fully.

burned through kingdom of the wicked so i could get to this one and YES, you should read those first, but i am just so so glad for ongoing time spent in this world. i loved getting to see more of each prince, including some scenes with wrath and emilia (!!!), and now i'm just annoyed to wait for the next one to come out

Oh my word... this was everything. I didn't read Kingdom of the Wicked prior, though it's on my TBR. Even without that, I still was able to enjoy this stand alone in the same universe. I loved the arrogance of this man, how he knew exactly what buttons to push. How she pushed right back and even beat him at his own game. The SPICE!!! The slow burn was so worth it. I also love that we have the Underworld and the land of the Fae intertwined. I did see some of the plot twists coming but not all of them. Also, I adored Blade. I wanted more of him and his sass.

I could not put this book down! I devoured it in like 2 days. I liked the Kingdom of the Wicked series but this book was sooooooo much better.
