This is a collection of short stories edited by Nick Hornby. Authors include Dave Eggers, Helen Fielding, Robert Harris, Melissa Bank, Zadie Smith, Roddy Doyle, Irvine Welsh, Colin Firth, John O'Farrell, Giles Smith, and Patrick Marber.
I enjoyed this but didn't love it.

ok, so I read this book because I wanted to read colin firth's short story. fight me
i don't care much for anthologies and short stories but this was surprisingly fun to read!!! there were several stories that i didn't actually like but the rest were great (hornby's eponymous Nipple Jesus comes to mind) and made up for it imo.
here's a list of the ones i liked i guess:
- PMQ / Robert Harris
- The Department of Nothing / Colin Firth
- Nipple Jesus / Nick Hornby
- The Slave / Roddy Doyle
- Catholic Guilt (You Know You Love It) / Irvine Welsh
- Walking Into The Wind / John O'Farrell

This collection of short stories was published to benefit the school for autistic children attended by Hornby's son. I think Hornby's story, Nipple Jesus, is the highlight -- I consider it one of the best short stories ever, and it caused me to rank his writing skill even higher than I had previously. Eggers also contributes a very good story (especially good if you like dogs).
