If I could give this book 10 stars, I would. This should be required reading for everyone...both for spotting the fallacies in others and as well as seeing the log in one's own eyes. The book is so very helpful in learning how to think critically, a skill that doesn't get taught often enough it would seem.
Great book.
There's really nothing like constantly reminding yourself (and understanding) that whatever happens in life is more than often the result of some randomness.
Are we Masters of the universe or just the result of a numpy.random.shuffle ?

It is a pretty good book and it does a good job of hammering home the idea (among other things), is that lawyers need to understand statistics in a major way, either to squash the other side or bedazzle a jury.
Has enough interesting gems to be worth keeping on a bookshelf, but also enough fluff to not really be worth recommending
This book was amazing and challenged the way I think about chance and the role it plays in our lives. Definitely opened my mind and made me consider randomness a lot more than before!
funny
informative
reflective
medium-paced
Well written, easy to read, lots of good examples to illustrate the points.
Good book. We don't know nearly as much as we think we do. Chance trumps skill more often than not.

Everyone should read this book, especially those of us who think that we know everything, that our common sense is solid, that we make rational decisions.
Listened to this as an audiobook and it was difficult to focus on. Sort of drifted in and out, but many of the examples were interesting.
