A bit slow paced in the beginning but in the end it really picked up the pace!
As a nature science student I loved that animals and nature was a big part of the story and that the main character is curious and strives for knowledge.
I just wish I didn’t have such a open ending!! Like what happened?? Was everything solved? What is she to do now? Did they become happy?

I personally didn't connect or get invested in the characters and storyline, but the premise was interesting and I probably would've loved it back in my early teens.

This was a nice palate-cleanser to round off 2019/begin 2020. It had its own distinct style and voice, which I loved, but the ending seemed rather abrupt with no epilogue to wrap things up. It was not my usual type of book, but I enjoyed it.

Loved this book. The imagery, the world, the character development, the pacing, the non-confusing multi-POVs, the philosophical development of characters and politics… do yourself a favor and read this book, but take your time. Savor it!
