3.5. Some really good stories, but I did find I zoned out for other ones.

I listened to this endearing memoir. It was bittersweet hearing Leslie Jordan's voice retelling his life and how he got Instagram famous. He learned after recovery how to have a life well lived and I think he was just enjoying and just as shocked his new found success before his untimely death.

Leslie Jordan was such an icon!
This book was amazing, I laugh out loud a few times and it was interesting to learn more about his life. It is a light read, and totally worth it, especially if you can get the audiobook. His inflections and comedic timing were perfect.

Listening to the audiobook read by Leslie Jordan himself made me miss him greatly. He was such a charismatic person who has never been unauthentic to himself. Loved the stories he told and getting a peek into his childhood. The world needs more people like him.

3.5 stars. Short and sweet. I recommend the audio, as Leslie reads it and he just elevates the stories. I never really felt super connected and most of it seemed pretty surface level, but still a few good essays and stories that were entertaining.
