This was a cute story. He hasn't been able to let himself love again once his wife died and for the first time in years he feels an attraction. These two characters spend a lot of time together planning a wedding and their attraction builds. She has been in love with him since she was 16 and no one ever measured up, but now they get their second chance.

Fun, quick read
Like your Daddy with a little gray...me too! While the age gap exists, it isn't too scandalous.
Baby for Daddy's Best Friend is a sexy sweet story made for a fun diversion. Not too deep and minimal angst, tou can ride off in the sunset with happy vibes.

Rye is back home at her dad’s house and is surprised to be tasked by him and his fiancée to plan their wedding in 6 months. All is fine until they tell her that her new planning assistant will be Ash, her dad’s best friend and her teenage crush.
Sparks fly between the two and the romance is heartwarming. The age gap was very acceptable because Rye is 29 and Ash is 46, so she is a mature adult, it was cute and charming.
I loved the tension and the guilt that enveloped them but with a happy ending that was the cherry on top.
The characters were adorable and lovable, I really wish for the stories of each of Ash’s sons, I feel that would be amazing.
The only thing I did not enjoy was the cover, the picture of a stocky guy gives me the impression of a short guy although Ash is quite tall, so it was not very appealing.

The sexual tension and lead up to the first romantic encounter was so well done. Otherwise, it was what it says on the tin with all the associated silliness.

It’s unfortunate the title is SO cringe because I really enjoyed this book. It was such a quick, easy read and I look forward to reading the rest of the series, cringey titles and all.

I've read so many small town romances for a month that I couldn't continue reading them anymore. I want to read smut again that's not closed door or plain vanilla so I gave this one a try. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. Kinda my fault for basing it just on the title alone and it unfortunately falls on my plain vanilla category.
The story was good, only around 240 pages, and straightforward but it's how the male main character was portrayed that I had a hard time reading. There were some instances that I had to look again at whose POV I was reading because the MMC's monologues seemed/sounded feminine. I mean... don't get me wrong, I love reading MMCs when they show their soft and vulnerable side but this one just didn't do it for me—too weak of a Hero that he seemed more out of sorts with his emotions rather than the FMC and he's also immature for a 46-year-old man. Seriously.
So other than that flaw for me, I don't mind reading the other books in this series. I just hope the next MMCs will be written well.
•MMC: 46 y/o, Rich Businessman, Single Dad of 3 Adult Sons
•FMC: 29 y/o, Florist, Wedding Planner for Her Dad and Future Stepmom's Wedding
•Tropes
-Age Gap
-Single Dad
-Father's Bestfriend/Bestfriend's Daughter
-Childhood Crush
-Death of Loved Ones (Off Page)
-Family Dynamics
-Forced Proximity
-Surprise Pregnancy
-Baby Daddy
•Spice/Smut: Tension, 3 Sex Scenes, Steamy to Vanilla = 3/5
