Gratuitous, throwaway, funny, well-illustrated. I liked it.

Super bloody. Like SUPER bloody. And it's amazing. Wayyyyy better than the film by far. Kick-Ass is not kick ass at all but Hit Girl is so freakin' baller it makes up for it. Must get the next issue.

Absolute must read, extremely funny, witty and gripping. The artwork is colourful and loud, I couldn’t get enough. I would recommend this to anyone, especially as a first comic to read. 100% buying the second volume.

It's different from the movie in many ways. I can't decide which one i like the most, they're both great.

Only good things about this book are the art, and the twist. Violent, foul-mouthed, and offensive in lots of different gross ways. I’m trying to get into comic books/graphic novels and I fear this was deterring.

I admire the story telling, the art, and crass young superheroes, but this was way too graphically violent for me. Lots and lots of blood. If that is not going to bother you, this is a good read.

Far too graphic for me to say I "enjoyed" the series, but I can see the appeal, and the writing is quite snappy.

Pretty much steamrolled through this one. It was a highly enjoyable read with the characters and art coming together really well. I enjoyed the meta-humor, high stakes, and Hit-Girl a great deal. I think the movie did add some meat to the story which helped the story's impact, but I still found the comic really enjoyable and a great concept. Looking forward to reading the other collections son.
