I found it difficult to continue reading this book after he told his readers about going to Africa to receive an alternative treatment for his depression in which he “spooned" with a bound ram under a pile of blankets while natives danced around and beat him and the ram with a live chicken and then the ram was slaughtered and it's warm blood was rubbed over his naked body which he described as "peculiarly pleasurable".
