Better than Psycho Shifters, but that might just be because my brain has rotted enough from Mas’s work that I’m no longer able to be as critical as I should be.

Difficult to keep track of all of the characters, especially when so many get introduced in a short space, and the POV switching is clumsy and unnecessary.

I might be missing some content warnings...I read this in the middle of the night when I was sick and couldn't sleep 😅

Ngl the entire first 3 books kinda blend all together since I read though back to back...while sick 😅

This series is so fun so far, but the slow burn is so slow. The plot of this one was interesting and I like the games incorporated. The character relationships and dynamics are still fun. There’s a new man introduced in this book and idk if I like him or not. I feel like it’s just because he was introduced late and I’m use to the other men. Also just seeing what cobra went through was so sad. Sadie is still so funny.

We've moved into a new realm, forcing them to compete in the Fae Games. It sounds like it will be this wild thing, and there are even some intense moments, but overall, they are far between. I wanted more action in this one. But we get to meet Xerxes and even get his POV! He's one of my favorites from this series.
