I don't love cozy mysteries, and this one has some particularly formulaic stuff. But the setting and characters are fun and interesting, so I will probably read the next one, too.

If you like cozy mysteries, you’ve gotta read Murder Under A Red Moon! This story is written so warmly and richly that I sometimes felt like I knew Kaveri, Ramu and the rest.
I learned facts about Indian culture and history that I didn’t anticipate I’d learn before going into the book. I love The Bangalore’s Detective Club and I will absolutely go back and read TBR first book in the series now!

Still appreciated the characters and setting, but the mystery was even weaker than the first.

This was such a fun installment, and I loved the focus on Kaveri's relationship with her mother-in-law and her growing awareness and compassion for someone she didn't understand very well previously.  Her relationship with her husband continues to be very cute, and the reoccurring characters were a delight.
