I am officially obsessed! I have wanted to get into fantasy for ages and i’ve wanted to read the zodiac academy for ages. I don’t know why i put it off for so long because this was amazing! I’ve seen some people say they didn’t enjoy the first book as much but it gets better but this was amazing so i’m so excited to carry on with the series! Hooked from page 1!

It was a decent set-up and premise. I guess I was expecting a bit more, but I am hoping book two will help match the great expectations many have set for this series.

Seems not all the bullies are aware they're supposed to be bullies. Twin FMCs aren't the brightest either, not even my usual love for rooting for underdogs is saving them in my mind. It feels like not a lot happened in book one, but this is a long-ass series with many mini-series that interconnect, so I am willing to give it some grace. They did lay down a lot of background, both current and historical as well as set the grounds for a lot of great possible main and side plots.

Ooooof this graphic audio though. If I am supposed to be hot for these heirs, why did you give them the most terribly unfitting VAs? Is it a conspiracy to be hot for teacher? It was really just a long cold shower.

Captivating and action packed from beginning to end. So many plot twists it made my head spin in the best way because my pattern recognition skills couldn't predict a single one!
