Basically this book is about a girl that lost a guy she really loved, and never thought she could ever move on. Her friend and her get a trip to Venice, where she meets a guy she has been dreaming about. The first weekend there they start experiencing strange things, and soon find out Tyler is a vampire.

Positives.
This was a interesting idea, and I liked the storyline. The book is an easy read. There was a lot of good things going for the book, but the author left a lot lacking.

Negatives.
Where to begin? Detail. Maybe overrated, but I would like to know what Venice looks like, such as; maybe Venice has trees? I wouldn't know, the author didn't give one detail. Details about why Lexi came to certain conclusions, why she decided to act this way, would have been great. There were no thoughts from Lexi, no describing her minds process on how she figures out that Tyler is a vampire. Those are really important in books, it makes me understand and sympathize with the characters, making Lexi come across as uber annoying and whiny. Also Tyler is supposed to be this mysterious, hot, sexy, foriegn vampire guy, and he annoys the crap out of me. The things he says are stupid and nothing someone would actually say, and he is so moody. Almost like a girl PMSing. Trust me, I would know. All of the characters were poorly created, I didn't care about them at all, which is bad. To top it all off, there were so many gramatical issues an editor would say its unfixable.

Overall.
If these problems were fixed, and fhey can be fixed, I think I would really like this book. I got halfway through this book before I put it down, and its not worth .99ยข on Amazon. I feel as if people think because the book isn't published and its digital that gramar isn't a big deal, but it is, and I can't stand it when I read a book that proves that statement, AKA Imprinted Souls. I am really upset with this book, and hopefully I can help someone with this review.
