This just didn’t live up to the first book.

I loved the idea of getting Holder’s perspective, but there were so many parts of this book that were absolutely cringe-worthy.

Getting the insight into Les and Holder’s relationship was great, but I hated Holder as a narrator. For example,
him kissing Sky while she was asleep was absolutely NOT ok and it was really frustrating that it was played off as romantic when in reality that’s bordering on SA

Considering I had to put this book down and walk away from it so many times, I’m not quite sure how I actually feel about it. That being said, I loved it. It broke me time and time again. But it also glued a part of me back together.

This was a good addition to the Hopeless story by Colleen Hoover. I enjoyed more insight about Dean and especially with Les as well. As in Hopeless, the trauma is just a lot for these individuals.

This book was amazing. I felt so connected to the characters, and there were so many parts that were just so raw and emotional. Colleen always does an amazing job of making the characters feel so real, along with their emotions and what they go through. I honestly could not get enough of the book, and the more I read the more my heart was breaking for these characters.
