I’m confused about who this book is for… obv it’s not for me lol but the writing is so simplistic that it reads as if for an elementary schooler yet the ideas seem too complex for that aged kid to properly handle. I also expected it to essentially be a young readers version of “Sapiens” but it quickly deviated into other topics after establishing a baseline of history. I found the structure and style confusing overall. with that said, the illustrations are delightful!

Gehaald bij de bieb voor mijn zoon en na dit na diens enthousiasme zelf ook gelezen. Prachtige non-fictie voor kinderen!

Well done. Mostly text, with a fair number of helpful images. Attractive design throughout.

Een heel informatief boek dat op zo'n manier geschreven is dat het veel (oudere) kinderen wel aan zal spreken! Toegankelijk.

This book is a "kid's" version of Sapiens. This is very well written and engaging. Lots of information and big facts. While this is book is for children, adults will enjoy this style of storytelling and writing. I think this should used in classrooms across the country to supplement the textbook or make this the textbook. Very good book. Highly recommend if you've wanted to understand how humanity started.
