One of the best books I’ve read in awhile. Canceled my evening plans so I can read the sequel.

This fantasy Young adult book was written so well! I got sucked into the story immediately. Even though it's a ya book, it wasn't written "young" and I thoroughly enjoyed the plot and the characters. There was great chemistry between the two main characters. I really recommend this book and can't wait for the sequel.

Dear Bonesmith,

I love a fun, easy fantasy. This holds its own even in a world where Gideon the Ninth exists.

Please don’t compare these books.

I’m excited to read Book 2.

Wow, what an ending. I had a similar feeling finishing Bonesmith as I did The Crimson Moth with both the ending, and plot twists that I did not see coming. There were plot twists I was expecting but I was never exactly right which I loved. The entire plot of this book is it’s strength and also the characters, the growth of Wren and also the charm and brains of Prince Leo (who kind of gives me Nikolai Lantsov vibes). I’m really excited to get to the second in this duology. The reason it’s not a higher 5 star is just because it was a little info-dumpy during the beginning, when it comes to worldbuilding and I’m still not 100% sure on how the world works.

I loved the premise of this story and the journey that Wren and Julian went through together and how Wren started to find herself and who she was and wanted to be. I hard a little bit of a hard time getting fully into the story at first, but once I did, I needed to constantly know what happened next. I immediately put the second book on hold through Libby so I can see how things progress and change.

This was a spur-of-the-moment purchase (Smith was in the title - So I had to have it. I also, have an unfinished self-written book with Smith in the title too) I AM SO GLAD I BOUGHT IT! It was a fantastic read and kept me captivated throughout. The idea of bone smiths, iron-smiths, gold smiths and ghost-smiths was an entirely new premise for me and well worth the time. Now all I have to do is wait for the next in the series! This copy was bought in Forbidden Planet in Cambridge and signed by the Author!
