Jesse James is 18 and her parents are far bounty Hunters, normal life right? But one they they go missing and Jesse has to make sure she finds them. I just couldn't get into the story, didn't connect with anything and found myself skimming and just wanting it to end soner rather then later. It's a well beloved book and has the most 5 stars reviews that I've seen. So clearly I'm missing out on something big here but it just wasn't for me unfortunately.

GUYS THIS WAS SO GOOD

I enjoyed this so so much! I'm glad I found this book, there's definitely not enough people talking about it.

I loved the characters, the storyline and the bond between Jesse and Finch was the cutest thing ever. Every time Finch came up I had to smile, he's beyond adorable.

I hope in the next book we get to see more of the Faerie realm and get to know a bit more about Lukas, Conlan, Faolin and the others. I still have a lot of open question which I hope I'll get the answers to in the next book (I'm sure I will).

Overall enjoyed this very much and cannot recommend this enough to anyone who likes to read about the bond of family and how far you'd go for the people you love and on top, you get faeries?! yes. just yes.

I believe I got this book for free, like 'first one is free' type of deal on Apple Books.

Was pleasantly surprised, and very much enjoyed the story and characters. Looking forward to reading the rest of these. Fun, bounty hunter with the Fae world interacting in the human world, great main character and supporting cast. Really enjoyed it.

I picked this book up after seeing someone in one of my online book communities recommending it. I was intrigued, to say the least, and I am thankful to whoever was that provided the recommendation.

Basically, I devoured this book. Every spare second I had, I was picking up this book to see what was going to happen next. This story is one adventure and mishap, one after the other. I was sometimes tense with anticipation, other times I was laughing due to something that had happened to the main character or what she said about another character. The banter between characters in this book was pure gold. I loved the main character and how she handled herself even when she found herself in some not-so-good situations.

Overall, my enjoyment of this book was high and it was a good, quick read.

Wow! Is really all I can say! This book was so good. The characters were so easy to love and the story line was even better. I’m sure I’m with everyone when I say that this book was so hard to but down. I had to know what was going to happen next. I can’t wait to read more from this new series and fall more in love with them. Finch oh man I love that little Fairie!
