This book is fantastic. A quick base plot with two viewpoints to keep it interesting. An unpredictable plot leading to a overall great book

Not my favorite in the series but still very good.

A super quick read and had some twists I wasn't expecting. That being said, I really can't find myself really liking the Rizzoli character, and I would've preferred more interaction between the two protagonists (Rizzoli and Isles).

I don't like political coverups and this book is so different from the earlier novels. And Jane being pregnant takes doing dumb female things to the extreme. Nine months pregnant and she tackles a defendant to the ground. And while in hospital she becomes a hostage, then a survivor and more concerned on being a cop than a mom


Now the story is just a recycled one, Powerful men use and abuse woman, wealthy businessman runs a dummy corporation to hide the brothel and people who can expose it all are either dead, or being chased by the bad guys

This book gets a three for the plot. I give it a ONE based on Rizzoli incredible reckless behavior, at times so unbelievable.


Maura is working late one night and finishing up her reports when she needs to check a detail on a deceased person, upon entering the morgue she realizes there is a live body in a bag. She gets this person to the hospital and things escalate into a hostage situation.

As Rizzoli and her husband looks for the truth, they will find themselves in a middle of sex trafficking where some in Washington are working to expose it while others are working to keep it a secret. This was a good story with great detective work. ( aside from Rizzoli )

My favorite of the books so far! They're getting better, and the characters are becoming more relatable. Looking forward to seeing how they continue to unfold.
