Unicorn Love
Can you tell how/where to find a real life Dakari? I love him and Jahzara!
And Yazmeen is absolutely hilarious, sassy and a sweetheart. Maybe we’ll get her story in the future. (hint)
Hate Our Love is an emotionally layered read that will have you laughing, crying and ready to throat punch a few folk. I truly loved every word. Download your copy today!
Well done Author Kay Shanee.

I believe this is my first read from this author, although a few of her books are on my TBR.
I really enjoyed the story overall, there were just some elements that didn’t read flushed out well. For example, the Ruby storyline. I get it, it was adding drama to the story. But it didn’t connect well for me.
Again, overall I enjoyed it. At the end everyone got what they deserved.
Now Bronx and Yaz. That’s what I want to read. Cause let’s be real, Yaz was spitting straight facts no chaser to big Sis.
Also- the whole breastfeeding thing and fertility.

I didn't hate it
I didn't hate it but not in love with it either. Decent read but a little boring, a little more detail on and parts would of been better. I did love the therapy aspect tho!

Hate Our Love by Kay Shanee is my first read for the author and it was a pretty decent story. There's very good character development and good storytelling that leads to a heartwarming ending. Unfortunately, the book is not a 5 star read for me because I found the FMC, Jahzara Franklin very immature and irresponsible, especially for an older and pregnant character, and I think this type of messaging isn't what we need for those who are more likely to read this type of book. Dakari Bentley, the MMC, is the ideal book bae, but I found his short temper, inability to manage his anger, and communication issues problematic, so for every likable trait he had, there was a negative one that canceled it out.
I listened to Hate Our Love on audiobook and I think Winston James and Anna Lynn Wright did a pretty good job, so I'd listen to another book narrated by either of them in the future for sure.
I recommend Hate Our Love to anyone who likes an engaging story with good pacing and a heartwarming ending.

I could not put this book down. I was so invested in how they fell so hard for each other at the very beginning. How he did everything to get out of that friend zone. What through me was what he did after the baby was born but said nothing, I was done so much so that my whole face slammed to the floor. This was a winner and I cannot wait to get into some other reads by this author.

Dakari and Jahzara
Both Dakari and Jahzara had bad communication skills I was shaking my head at how both of them handled certain situations. Dakoda was just sad like how you act like that towards your brother
