I loved the way everything came together in this epic conclusion to this tale. Tate knows how to tell the story of a princess in hiding and her three magical lovers like no one else. When all was revealed at the end, so much made sense! I’d love to have a bonus epilogue of where they are five years down the road...

Arghhhh. This book really frustrated me. I loved the beginning of the series, but it got progressively worse, and I am just so done by now. Here are SOME of my issues:
The whole deal with Master Bloodeye was unnecessary and made absolutely no sense. It was just dumb and confusing.
Also, the ending! What was that? The spreading blackness in Ty’s chest issue was just magically solved. A conflict that seemed important became easily solved in the last couple sentences of the book.
And the lack of steam throughout this series was horrible! The best part of reverse harem books for me is when she is with all of the men at once, and that never happened. I couldn’t even feel the romantic connection between any of them.
This book was by far the worst book in the series. Rough ending, great start. It was really disappointing for me, especially because of just how much I loved the first book.

Tate James is definitely one of my new favorite authors.
It was gut wrenching roller coaster ride and it was a damn good one.
Ugh I love her and her books.
All I will say is with every series I’ve read by her I hope we get novellas in the future to check on with her characters.

Ahhh the trilogy is over! I really enjoyed this one again. I loved the use of magic and the Gods. As always I loved Zarina and her sass! Such a fun trilogy!

This conclusion to the series was wonderful. You can tell how much Tate really worked on this and thought she put into the ending. Read her authors note at the end, you will not be disappointed.

The end... Or is it?
As the author notes at the end... It doesn't feel like the end of the story. There are more story lines there to flesh out so I'm excited that there will be a different series. I get the this is the trials series so it only covers what occurred during the trails. This book gave us a lot of answers to things we had been searching for as well. There is a lot of things that get tied up nicely as well. It's a good conclusion even if I felt the very end was a little quick. I love the relationship development and seeing how things progressed.
