This was an amazing book! The style is really unique and a little hard to get into but I found it so fun to read. There’s so much artistic imagery that really allows you to dive into the story. The characters are so charming and complex, and I really enjoyed getting to know them.this book made me feel so alive and warm without being too overly sweet.

This is pitch perfect literary YA- the kind that reads quickly and easily but is densely packed with metaphor and prose that you want to write paragraphs on. Excited to read her Nelson’s work.

First of all, I loved The Sky is Everywhere. That book made me choke up and swoon. But this book stirred up nothing but boredom and I'm really sorry about that.
I felt like the story was slow and predictable. I didn't like Jude or Noah. Oscar was okay, I guess. I was expecting a lot from this book so I felt disappointed when it didn't give me goosebumps and feels.
I would probably recommend this to some of my friends but I won't re-read it.

This might be the most intense book I've ever read in my life. And I wouldn't be surprised if it was the best book I read this year.

goddamn.
this book. read it in about 4 hours straight which is nice because I've been feeling the overfilling need to consume something -- anything.
i fear i may have read this book a little too fast.
it was just. it was good. it was a solid book. just not much more.
i cared for the characters and the plot was interesting and the prose was so so so gorgeous. (for me at least i know other people disagree)
my main thing is idk. maybe a five star book in another life but just didn't give me that feeling of giddiness at all or a deep wrenching sadness either. also the whole romance between jude and oscar wasn't great to me... like Brian and Noah's made more sense? Jude and Oscar was just very insta love.
also everything was resolved in two conversations which i get but not really. wouldve appreciated it being like it will eventually work out but at least its a start or smth like that yk.
also i love love love noah whos so messed up but didnt really care for the future or jude as much. she was great? but like it was very empty to me. noah <3

I really enjoyed this book once I got into the flow of it; took me a while as it's one of the longest books I've read in years but after I got really into it, it went by fast; noah and jude are so complicated and complex, i love the way that younger noah tell us stuff then present jude, it was so interesting how everything connected towards the end, I didn't expect it at all; I truly recommend this book, I thought i was going to give up after realising it dont have a chapter format, but I pressed on and deeply enjoyed myself.

I cannot even begin to explain how much I loved this book. The passion and love and fragilness of the characters was so real. Really a completely fantastic read. Highly recommend. I give it all the stars and the sky and the sun and the world and the earth but I'll keep the flowers.
