God this series is so good!!! I am so sad that it hasn't been popularized, since it's a series everyone should read! I think it's better than the Hunger Games, personally, and I wish it had the same reach. Excellent execution on the final book, wraps things up well without pulling any punches. I'm so glad this series holds up like how I remember.

I cried repeatedly through the last 60ish pages and I'm crying now!!!! Suzanne Collins please give me a 5 or 10 years later happily ever after extended epilogue so I can read about these characters again but with happy tears pls
you don’t even want to know how hard i cried during the back half of this book. a top 3 middle-grade series for SURE
