Another great entry in the Rachel Friedman series. This one focuses on Purim and friendship. It is spot on for second and third graders! Rachel wants to be Queen Esther in her Hebrew School production of the Purim story. When her best friend Maya gets the part instead, Rachel is too upset to be happy for Maya and the girls stop talking to each other. Rachel's dad helps her work out how to be a better friend as their fight continues to escalate. Highly recommended for grades 2 & up.
