Good enough conclusion to the series.

In my opinion the original will always be the best. However, this sequel exceeded my expectations. I don't know how he does it, but Earnest Cline just keeps on coming up with genius ideas for this plot. I noticed a couple of holes in it that didn't quite make sense or seem possible to me, but other than that this was a beautiful sequel.

3.7/5

If you are looking for a completely new adventure, different from Ready Player One, you won't find it in this book. However, you will find a continuation of the story line. I love the world that Cline created and was happy with the book. I listened to the audio version (read by Wil Wheaton) and really enjoyed it. True, it is devoid of great philosophy and higher purpose, but for a nice escape from 2020, it served its purpose.

The next stage of digital evolution. Inevitable and beautifully executed.
